Engineering, in conjunction with Wright State
University, is proud to announce the debut of the
Center for Operator Performance.
The Center is an alliance of
academic and process companies to research generic
issues in human factors and process operator
performance. Visit the
website for more information. |

OUR METHOD |
|
Our approach is one
of tailoring our services to our clients' needs, rather
than trying to adjust our clients to fit our methods.
We implement an on-site, "hands-on"
approach to gauge the causes of problems, and then seek
to solve the problems through the manipulation of
various workload and human performance variables.

BEVILLE HOME
WHO WE ARE
Beville Engineering is a refinery and
petrochemical industry leader in the field of human factors
engineering and analysis services.
Beville has enabled numerous oil refineries,
chemical/gas plants and pipelines to substantially reduce costs and
improve performance associated with staffing management and
man-machine interface issues.
We have also helped many companies diminish safety
issues through our analytic approaches to solving human performance
problems.
OUR EXPERIENCE/DATABASE
Beville has completed over 300 projects for the major oil companies,
including BP, Chevron, Citgo, Conoco/Phillips, Shell, Valero, Nova,
ExxonMobil and others.
During the past two decades, we have compiled our accumulated data
from a variety of refineries and other process plants into a large
database that enables us to make individual company/unit comparisons
to industry averages.
For steady state operations alone, we have amassed
nearly 4 man-years of directly observed data. We have a vast
quantity of data available for the other facets of workload as well.
These comparisons then allow our customers to see
where they stand in relation to the rest of the industry. They are
the starting blocks for many of our analyses, for they show where a
company needs to improve in order to become more profitable. |
